Amare Bey Family Foundation is a charitable organization focused on strengthening communities through family assistance, youth development, education, food and clothing outreach, and access to essential resources. Our mission is to create lasting opportunities for underserved individuals and families while building a foundation of dignity, service, and collective responsibility.
Our vision includes establishing a safe and welcoming community center where families and young people can access educational programs, mentorship, recreational activities, hygiene resources, and community support.

Amare Bey Family Trust is a separately organized religious and charitable trust registered with the Illinois Attorney General’s Charitable Trust Bureau under Registration No. CO#01088815.
The Trust’s religious principles of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Justice align with the charitable mission of Amare Bey Family Foundation.
The Trust is recognized as a supporting religious organization in the Foundation’s community outreach efforts. The Foundation and the Trust maintain their separate organizational identities, purposes, and records.
Together, their shared commitment to service supports the advancement of families, children, education, and community well-being.

The Amare Bey and Wrencher Community Center Initiative
More Than a Building. A Safe Haven for Our Community.
At AMARE BEY FAMILY FOUNDATION, our mission extends beyond providing temporary assistance. We are working toward establishing a fully equipped community center on Chicago’s South Side where children, families, seniors, and individuals facing hardship can access essential resources, educational opportunities, recreational activities, and meaningful community support.
Our vision is to create a safe, welcoming environment where people can receive assistance without unnecessary financial barriers. The proposed center would include indoor basketball courts, youth sports programs, educational classrooms, mentoring services, community gathering spaces, showers, laundry facilities, clothing distribution, food assistance, and opportunities for personal development.
We envision a place where young people can participate in positive activities, families can obtain essential supplies, and community members can build relationships that strengthen their futures.
We Accept More Than Financial Donations
Your Unused Items Could Make a Difference in Someone’s Life.
Building stronger communities requires more than financial contributions. We welcome support through donations of new or gently used clothing, shoes, toys, books, school supplies, video games, gaming consoles, computers, electronics, sports equipment, hygiene products, household essentials, and other useful items.
Whether you’re contributing a single item or organizing a large donation drive, your generosity can support our charitable outreach and help us prepare for the future community center.
Other donated goods, equipment, furniture, and supplies may also be accepted by arrangement, depending on condition, safety, and community needs.
